We've written these letters for all the Year 6s out there who are joining Queens' in September......

Dear Year 6,
My first day, I felt nervous as I got on the bus. I waited 3 stops until my friend came on. When we arrived we were so scared, but every lesson we went to the teachers were really nice to us. The day went really quickly and it was fun, so don't be worried..............nobody bites!

Dear Year 6s,
When I first started in Year 7, I was unsure of myself. I thought I would never settle in with my own group of friends. The teachers were really helpful and spirit-lifting. Whenever I had any trouble with friends or homework, I went to my Form Tutor. His advice for homework was joining the Homework Club and it really helped me to get my work done.
My advice to you is to try and get along with all types of people and have fun!!!!

Dear Year 6s,
Now I bet you're wondering how much homework you will get? You never know how much! At the beginning of the year you should get a 'homework timetable' which gives you a basic guideline of how much you get.
My advice is to record your homework when you get it and make sure you do it.

My first day was really exciting and nerve racking!
I had lots of questions I needed to ask, and well, my advice is ALWAYS ask them! I bet your number one worry is making friends and all you need to remember is smile at people and have fun!

Dear Year 6s,
My first day at Queens' was exciting, but the thing I was most worried about was making friends, because none of my friends from my primary school were coming to Queens'. I shouldn't have really worried about it because it was really easy to make friends.
My advice to you is to not worry about making friends because you will make them really quickly.
